In this activity, the student completes a well known line from a fairy tale with the passe compse or the imperfect of a given verb. Each sentence contains one of each tense so the student can practice this difficult grammatical concept within an interesting context.
This activity fit perfectly with our short story unit. The students enjoyed the work because of the fairy tale theme. Afterwards, they created their own examples.

I like the worksheet because it is comparative. I think I will use it with my level 2s next year...I think they will be able to use it well.
