This "find someone who" activity is a non-threatening beginning of the year verbal class activity. It is a Word document and can be easily edited to suit your learners level of vocabulary and grammar knowledge. All the questions use the same stem, which you can model when introducing the activity, and the questions are all in the present tense using regular and some common irregular verbs.

A great getting to know you kind of game. Perfect for those first few days when you are trying to build up a class community, especially for me since I teach French Immersion and the students already have a bit of a French basis coming to me!
That's French for the language "Punjabi" which is a native language for some students in the school where I taught for the past few years. Many families there have emigrated from India, Pakistan and other south-east asian countries.
This is editable, so please feel free to substitute another language that suits you.
I am sure your students love this lesson! Your “French People Bingo Game†was the featured “Free Product of the Day†on “The Best of Teachers Pay Teachers.â€
Wishing you the best in the new school year,

Thanks Victoria! They do enjoy it, and it gives me a good chance to circulate on Day 1 or 2 to identify a few strenghts and challenges in speaking. I appreciate having this product featured - such a pleasant and unexpected surprise!
