To play, model a conversation and then provide every student with a paper cell phone (print-and-go template included.) Partners practice the dialog using their fun paper phones as props. After sufficient practice, reach into a bowl where you have placed slips of paper with culturally authentic telephone numbers that correspond to numbers on the student phones. Call out the numbers as you pretend to dial. Say "Brrring!" The student whose number you dialed must answer the phone and perform the dialog for the class.
