This writing project is used in the spring as a way
for students to practice their friendly letter writing
while creating a memory book. Students will
write to each of their classmates, and these
letters will be compiled and bound together (I
use clear-front report covers). They are given
out at the end of the school year.
Included in this packet are the letter formats
(with a box for a picture), sentence starters for
students to use when coming up with nice things
to write about their classmates, a chart to keep
track of who has written to whom, and several
pages to put in the back of the books for
students to fill out, yearbook-style.
