Very cute --I like that it can change :)
That is one of my favorite parts of setting up problems like this. I can differentiate the numbers for those that solve the problem easily but giving them bigger numbers.

Cute word problem, love how you differentiated it!
Thank you, Brian. This is the problem I gave to all my K-3 teachers to complete before our next math meeting so we can see the strategies that all grade levels are using to solve this type of problem.

Thanks Lisa! One of our kindergarten teachers has had great success in letting her students choose which numbers to use. They have been very good a picking appropriate numbers for their ability.

I saw your posting on the Sellers Forum page of Teachers Pay Teachers; so, I thought I would look at your freebie. I left you a rating.

I have a few suggestions that might help you to better market your products. First, be careful of the fonts you use. I have found that my primary materials with "normal" fonts sell the best. Many teachers shy away from the unusual fonts because many times they don't download well.

Add a second page which is a directions or suggestions page. List several ways you use this product in your classroom. Never assume that a buyer knows how, why, or when to use your product. Use the footer to put the copyright symbol, your name and date of creation on EVERY page. Items, especially free ones, have been "stolen" from TPT and posted on other sites to be sold. You have to protect all of your creations.

I would suggest adding a couple more problems so that the person downloading your product really feels as if they got something special. I have found that the more thorough my free item is, the more traffic I get to my store.

If you have time, I’d appreciate your input on my freebie listed below.
