I have always been a big fan of the Froggy series by Jonathan London. Children always love to hear the expressive language these books are famous for! Who can resist ~ Zap! Zeep! Znap! Zlim! Zoop! Zup! Zup! After seeing the graphics drawn by MelonHeadz Illustrating I knew I had to make a literacy pack! I have created 5 engaging literacy centers that go with the book Froggy Plays Soccer. I have used sentences right from the book to teach 5 important skills.
Centers:
(1) Froggy's Verbs
(2) Polliwog Punctuation
(3) Froggy's Facts and Opinions
(4) Kickin' Contractions
(5) Froggy's Idioms - Flapbook
