This is a book of real-world, functional school vocabulary to use with special education students such as those with autism, speech-language needs, early childhood special education, mentally impaired, and those requiring assistive technology and adapted material. Students will learn and generalize vocabulary from photographs to stories. Social stories.
Stories are 9-12 pages in length.
Teachers may choose to print two copies of the book in order to create a matching activity (laminate books and cut out photos in second book, attach Velcro. Students can add pictures as you read.)
Spanish version is available.
