My class had such a great time playing the Royal Family Game that I decided to create an Easter Bunny version as well! (I had boys and girls choose to play it instead of toys at free center time!!!) This time, we are practicing reading nonsense words and counting by tens.
The students or teacher will place the bunnies in a pocket chart and either you or one lucky child will hide either a happy face or a gold coin behind each picture. Then, the other students will take turns reading the names on the pictures. If they read it correctly, they can pull out the card and collect their prize. The game continues until all of the cards have been named. At the end of the game, each student will color in the number of gold coins they found on their worksheet and count by tens to find out how much of the bunnies money they won!
(You may need to adjust the number of coins to the number of students you have playing as the worksheet only has a space for 10 coins for each round)
Packet includes 30 bunny cards, smile cards and gold coin cards to hide behind each bunny and a recording sheet.
