These word wheels feature the consonant blends '-gh' and '-ght' and the sounds they have when added to different blends or letter groups.
The consonant blend or consonant digraph ‘-gh’ has either an ‘h’ sound or an ‘f’ sound, depending on the word, e.g. through and laugh. The consonant blend ‘-ght’ always sounds like ‘t’, e.g. caught. Each wheel has eight words except for the fifth wheel which has six. All of the words used are real words. The bottom wheels have the beginning part of the words and the top wheels have the ‘gh’ or ‘ght’ endings.
