This is a generic gameboard rubric that can be used as is or modified for most grades and any subject. Why use a gameboard? To motivate students, to use higher order thinking skills,to integrate the Multiple Intelligences, to make grading easier and more pleasant for you! Use gameboards in place of book reports, biographies, or as the culmination of a unit. You can use them as a project or as a test. They can even be used for an end of the year review. After students have completed the gameboard, they play the games to further deepen their knowledge of the subject.
