This test was written for a typical Biology I class. The test includes fill in the blank, multiple choice and quite a few problems to be worked out. The fill in the blank and multiple choice questions cover the basic genetics vocabulary, such as homozygous, heterozygous, genotype, dominant recessive, phenotype, etc. There are several questions on Mendel, his work and his laws of genetics. Students are required to determine the genotypes of the parents, fill in the Punnett square, and answer several questions about each problem.
