3-2-1 activities help students identify the main points of a topic or text. This strategy also helps students reflect on their learning. There are two 3-2-1 activities related to Geography Alive attached to this document. The first activity should be used with pages 4 & 5 of Geography Alive. The next activity should be used with chapter 1. The questions are directly related to this section of the book. I use these activities as part of the introduction to the geography unit to help the students start thinking about the principles of geography.
