This crossword puzzle is designed to practice geometric vocabulary and recognize formulas. It is a free form crossword puzzle that features 23 different geometric terms or formulas. The 23 clues are in the form of definitions or a formula format which give emphasis to polyhedrons, circles, and formulas for area, surface area, and volume. Some of the words included are: sphere, tetrahedron, polyhedron, pyramid, circumference, cylinder, and volume. A puzzle solution is also included.

I have been teaching since "the earth cooled". My husband is a teacher as well, and together we have over 75 years of teaching in the elementary, middle school, high school and college areas. My focus is mathematics while my husband's is science. We never want to do anything else because we love it! My teaching style is hands-on and energetic while using diverse teaching strategies. I try to teach ordinary things in extraordinary ways.
