Looking for a game to help students practice geometry jargon? Ever feel like your students get geometry until it comes to testing time? Understanding vocabulary and internalizing geometry lingo has always been the pitfall for my students. This game allows students to practice important geometry phrases related to QUADRILATERALS ("opposite angles congruent," "adjacent sides congruent," "opposite sides parallel," etc.). The game contains 20 quadrilateral clue cards, 6 quadrilateral cards (rhombus, isosceles trapezoid, right trapezoid, rectangle, square, parallelogram), directions, and game cards.

TEACHING EXPERIENCE
Subject Area:
I am in my 8th year of teaching. Most of my teaching experience has been in 5th grade, but I taught 4th grade for two years and looped with those classes. I have a masters in Curriculum and Instruction in Reading and received National Boards Certification in Middle Childhood. Being an elementary teacher, I teach all subject areas and think about ways to engage children in content through collaboration and discussion.
