Test your students' knowledge of geometric terminology by giving them a practical exam. The teacher or students must make the pieces to go with this activity. The answer key which is provided gives you the list of geometric terms which need to be made. Place shapes on students' desks and have them walk around to name them. It's a great way to get students out of their seats.

I have taught for 36 years at the 3rd, 5th, and 6th grade levels. Fifth grade is my first love. I teach all major subject areas.
