I knew some of these would be a bit high for the average 2nd grader. However I've always believed in exposing my students to about grade level concepts, terms, skills etc. If they get it, wonderful! If not, that's o.k.
I also love to include options in my products that will appeal to wide range of students. That way I'm hoping to challenge all of my students.

TEACHING EXPERIENCE
Subject Area:
Ed-U-Smart is the education store that I've dreamed of creating for years. Children's imaginations inspired the character Edison U. Ratio Smart, the character behind Ed-U-Smart. Both of these are my "public" face. A bit about my, "private" face and experience follows below. I have 25 years of teaching experience in elementary schools. I have taught 1st-4th grade, gifted education, technology classes and math/technology classes. I am passionate about stretching children's brains. I love helping them reach new heights of learning and understanding. I firmly believe that any concept or idea is within all children's grasp. You just have to find the way they'll understand it. I love that challenge of "finding the way."
