This is a fun and engaging Gingerbread-themed pack filled with LOTS of hands-on literacy and math centers for your students. In this unit you will get activities that focus on:
- CVC words (with a focus on middle vowel sounds)
- rolling, counting and coloring game
- counting 1-10 and 11-20
- beginning sounds
- number order
- patterning
- graphing (there are a variety of activities)
- spin, count and identify the number
- sight words
- 5-frames and 10-frames
- rhyming words
- rolling and matching the numbers
- sorting letters
...and a pocket chart story written by me with an emergent reader for students to read and complete
This is a HUGE packet and would be great during the winter months.

I downloaded your whole year. Of writing the room.
When I go to open it, there a many black streaks where I think words might go.

Hi there! I would contact TpT to let them know of this problem you are having and also try their suggestion:
"If you purchased/downloaded a PDF and it is blurry/black lines after you open it, solve it this way: on a MAC or PC, install the latest version of ADOBE READER. Then, open the file with ADOBE READER. That's it. On a MAC, make sure to "Open With" ADOBE READER and NOT Preview. If it's still blurry, that's because you are still opening it with Preview!"
That way, you can prevent this from happening again. Remember that the Write the Room Complete Set is a ZIPPED file meaning that you will have to EXTRACT each file individually and save them so that you can use them. You shouldn't have the black lines. Hope this helps!
