Each player will need a pile of houses and a game mat ( gingerbread cookies). The goal is to cover all of the ginger bread cookies with a house (send them home). This can be done by rolling 1 dice or 2 and adding. Play continues until all the gingerbread cookies are at home.

This quick, but comprehensive, game is just what my preschoolers need! I like that I can use this game to focus on any number of things: turn-taking, 1:1, numeral or dot recognition, and even a left-to-right direction w/return sweep (pre-literacy)!
