Get in the holiday spirit with this gingerbread sorting activity! When a y comes at the end of a word it usually makes an e or an i sound. Use the gingerbread house sorting mats to sort the gingerbreads according to their ending sound (y as e or i). This makes for excellent independent practice, small group guided instruction, or a literacy center or station.

Mrs Caruso's Curious Kinders (TpT Seller)
I bought this for enrichment for one of my kindergarten students who is flying high with reading (middle 2nd grade reading level). He flew through it, yet still felt that he was doing the gingerbread activities that the other students were doing. Thanks for the wonderful seasonal activity!
