Hello. I like this a lot and appreciate that it is free. I do have a suggestion; for the first page, I think it would be helpful to include a picture of the cookie leaving the oven, so that kids could use the picture to "read" that page. Otherwise, terrific.

Hi Bonnie, I have the kids keep these in their book bags so that they can reread them many times to work on fluency. Therefore, I like for them to be as sturdy as possible. Copy them one sided and fold them with the blank part facing in and staple them on the left hand side. I hope that makes sense!

Hey There, My books are a little wonky! :) I have my kids keep them in their reading bags to read over and over (to work on fluency). So I need them to be extra sturdy. I print them one sided and then fold each page in half with the blank side towards the inside. Then I put all of the pages in order and staple them on the left. This makes the books last a long time. Hope that helps!
