This is a great beginning of the year goal setting activity. Student record their goals and steps for achieving them on the back and decorate the front. This also makes a great classroom display. Print the pennants on legal sized paper and laminate if desired. You can whole punch the tops, string them together with yarn, and then hang them across your classroom. An easy and fun activity.
Totally cool idea- makes a great classroom banner for parent - teacher goal setting conferences.

I plan to use this in the Spring when we are preparing to take our California Standards Test. I think the pennants will be a great way for students to set goals and boost their confidence. I will then hang them in the room during the two weeks of testing. Thanks!
