Well worth the money. Practical and substantive. One of my students (Honors 8th Grade) produced splendid journal entries and the newspaper article. She played every role in the package, producing writings that seemed authentic for each character. Be aware, however, that it is not appropriate to simply print and hand out the documents. Numerous errors (missing word, syntax, grammar, wrong word, punctuation, consistency) require several minutes of close reading and "clean-up" before the document is ready for prime time!
