Two of my favorite things are the Olympics and the beginning of the year! This unit is truly the best of both worlds. Included in this unit is everything that you need to get your students excited and motivated about a new school year including a beginning of the year gift, poem, writing activities, crafts, and tons of activities to build a classroom community! All resources can be adapted to meet the needs of any grade level (materials are leveled). In the Olympic unit, I was wondering if you could send me a revised copy of the scavenger hunt? On the 2nd item it says "pet" head and rub "bell". I am very excited to use this unit...it is amazing!

TEACHING EXPERIENCE
Subject Area:
During my short teaching career, I have never stayed in one place too long! :) I've been teaching for six years - 4 years in 1st grade,1 year in 2nd, and have now moved on to 3rd grade just this year. Looping has presented many challenges, but I have enjoyed all of the wonderful experiences that this model of teaching can offer. I adore my job and am always looking for ways to improve my instruction in the classroom. I have quickly learned that when you make learning magical, that is when it truly sticks for the "long haul". I enjoy creating resources that bring learning to life in my classroom, and I am so excited to be able to offer a little piece of that to you here on TPT. Happy Teaching! :)
