Goldilocks and The Three Bears is always a favorite story. My first graders love hearing different versions of this book when we study fairy & folk tales.
This is a great little mini unit that your students will love!

Here is what is included:
{1} ABC Order activity: 14 cards for students to arrange in ABC with words from the story. There are two recording sheets for students to write the words after they put the cards in order. One sheet has 14 blanks .. if you want to use all 14 cards. The other sheet has 10 blanks if you want to take out 4 of the cards.
{2} Sequence of Events Cut and Paste: Students will cut the seven events from the story out and glue them in the correct order. A paper for students to glue on is also included.
{3} Capital Letter Sort: Students read the 20 cards and decide if the words need a capital letter. They can sort them on a table, floor or they fit perfect in a pocket chart. YES and NO header cards are also included. There is a recording sheet also available. The students write the 10 words that need a capital letter under YES and the 10 words that do not need a capital letter under NO.
{4} Comprehension cards: Students read the 12 fact cards and answer the questions about the story. Great follow up activity to review.
{5} Let�s Write: Two story/lined paper templates are included for students to practice writing. Write to retell, write a letter to Goldilocks, write sentences using story words, etc.. There is also a picture/word reference sheet for students to use that has the most common used words from the story.
{6} Word search using words from the story.
{7} Color Goldilocks: Students follow written direction to color the Goldilocks picture! My first graders LOVE LOVE LOVE these practice sheets. They are great for morning work or as an early finisher activity.
{8} Did it happen paper? Students read the 14 questions and write yes or no if it happened in the story.
{9} Bear Art Project: A precious little bear craft for your students to make. All the pieces/patterns are included to make the bear.
