NEW AND IMPROVED! I created this unit for my students to learn more about the importance of our government. This unit includes mostly of reading comprehension and is suitable for older students. I made it as an outline for students to read and engage in the text. There is also a vocabulary matching game, an assessment, and ideas to create your own class (or country) flags and have your own election for class president. This is one of my BEST SELLERS and I wanted to make sure I revamped the entire unit!! Now a total of 35 pages (more than double than before!) I have included adorable borders from Krista Wallden, amazing graphics from Scrappin Doodles, and fun fonts from Kevin and Amanda.
