Used with the Treasures Reading series story Washington Weed Whackers (Unit 4 week 3). Timed centerpiece is alternative to regular workseets. Students pick a number card from the center of table and work on that numbered problem for a teacher specified amount of time. Once finished the student picks a new number and the teacher sets the time again. Students continue until all problems are finished. Students love this activity!
