Have you been wanting to set up an organized, easy to follow digital gradebook? I have been using this gradebook and improving on it for 3 years, and I love it! Excel gradebooks are a great way to update grades from your laptop. They are neat, colorful, and easy to work with.

This gradebook template comes complete with instructions for easily organizing your grades, so you don't have to be an Excel pro in order to use it. Although, I'm sure that with my simple instructions once you've used it for a while you will be a pro.

How do I change the weighting of grades or have different scores for different students?

Hi Evelyn,
Are you familiar with adding formulas to cells in Excel? You can add a formula like =43/50 if a student got 43 out of 50 questions right, and it will automatically generate a percentage. There are also a few other things you can do to make grading easier. Check out the links below for some tips.

I'm not sure about weighting grades. I usually adjust my grades before I add them to the gradebook if needed. Hope that helps!
