Working with data collection? Want to tie in St. Patricks Day? Or just looking for a cute project to do with your class? Then you have found the perfect product! And it's free!! This packet offers you instructions on how to make your very own rainbow using fruit loops! It even gives you the 2 graphing sheets to use (1 in color and 1 in black and white) and a data collection sheet for your students to use. Want to take the project a little further? Well have your students get creative and write about what THEY might find at the end of the rainbow.
The rainbow graphics were created by KPM Doodles and the fruit loop graphics were created by me.
Common Core Standards for this packet include:
K.MD.2. Directly compare two objects with a measurable attribute in common, to see which object has "more of"/"less of" the attribute, and describe the difference.
K.MD.3. Classify objects into given categories; count the numbers of objects in each category and sort the categories by count.
