This graphical organzier can be used with the Houghton Mifflin Michigan Social Studies textbooks. It encourages students progression into notetaking skills. I print these on transparencies and fill them out with my students. It allows them to take organized notes as they learn how to do this overwhelming skill. This lessons is geared toward the study of the Hopewell Inidans in Michigan.

Hello! I have been an elementary teacher for six years. My first year, I taught math and computers to third, fourth, and fifth graders. I have spent the last three years teaching fourth grade and fifth grade. I am loving every minute of it. I have also worked in a pre-kindergarten class for three years.
