Graph the coordinates given to create the mystery picture (the Easter Bunny, of course). This graphing coordinates picture activity is a fun Easter themed math lesson for Grades 6-8, meeting curriculum outcomes: Plotting ordered pairs on a coordinate grid, drawing and labeling a coordinate grid. Kids love this activity! It serves as a great review, while keeping with the Easter spirit. I've included a completed Easter Bunny picture to save you time and so that you know what to expect from your students. I like to use their completed pictures as a part of my Easter display.

I really liked the graphing activity but I had to go through and manually put in the parenthesis around the ordered pair. While I could look at it and tell instantly which pair of numbers when together, my fifth graders would have struggled with it. However, I still would highly recommend this product.

Thanks for the feedback Krista. Keep in mind that it is listed for Gr 6-8 and so that may be part of the reason your 5's would have struggled a bit. I may add the parenthesis for next Easter, though:) Thanks again!

I have been teaching for 6 years now. I currently teach Grade 7 Math, Social Studies, Language Arts, and Health but I have taught grades 3 to 9, multiple subjects. My passion is teaching Math, for sure. I love the challenges that middle school students bring to the room every day. It's a very special age to be a part of. They teach me so much.
