This is a great worksheet that has 6 graphing problems by using a table and 6 graphing problems by using the intercepts. Both sets of problems are mixed between graphing lines and inequalities. The last 5 problems are application problems to help the students practice creating linear functions (which I call equations in the beginning), plugging numbers in, and solving for the missing variables. By the time I start teaching graphing, I have already spent time on writing the functions from application problems. I teach it earlier than the books because I know that they need the extra time to practice the skill and it is a good link from the previous unit of solving equations.
In total this worksheet has 17 problems and is a great homework assignment or class work. I have also included the key with descriptions of how I teach the different types of problems.

TEACHING EXPERIENCE
I have over 13 years experience teaching high school math. I started my career teaching in Quincy, Florida for 2 years. After that I moved to Charlotte, North Carolina for 3 years. I tried it back home where I grew up in Juneau, Alaska for 2 years. After leaving Alaska, I moved back to Winston-Salem, North Carolina, where I taught for 4 years and I was the department chair for the last 3 years. I taught in Clarksville, TN for 2 years and was a Level 5 teacher my final year there. I am currently in Juneau, AK working on my Masters in Mathematics Education, K - 8. I am not currently teaching, but I am still working with youth at a residential youth facility.
