For what it cost, I expected more than 8 slides. Also, this expects students to have a lot of background information about the time period for the questions to be even remotely useful. Not impressed.

Sorry you were disappointed. It is designed in the History Alive fashion for use with spiral questioning. This type of student-centered activity leads the students through cycles of analysis to come to the content. They are short in nature due to the process of analysis from simple to more in-depth. I also fill in much of the information needed by my students through oral introduction while we are viewing the images. Students seem to enjoy this format much more than traditional lectures. They retain more as well.

I have taught all areas of Social Studies for eight years and English I-III for the past year. My experience ranges from teaching grades 6 through 12, and I have had all levels of classes, including Special Education collaboration and gifted and talented.
