This is a lesson designed to help students fill in the plot gaps in The Great Gatsby in a fun and creative way- through skits! The lesson includes a detailed lesson plan with objectives, six skit assignments, a scoring rubric and two sample skits written by some of my former students to help your students with ideas. My students always LOVE this lesson and have a lot of fun with it! You can also easily use the skit assignments as creative writing assignments or journal topics if you don't want to do skits with your students and still get the same result. Have fun!
