If they already know the alphabet, try posting this one above your whiteboard instead! It includes upper and lower case symbols, English (Latin) equivalences, and pronunciations.
It prints in landscape format with two letters per page and fit just perfectly in a horizontal row over my board as traditional alphabet displays do--but with a real wow effect that makes everyone entering the room stop and actually look at the letters. Letters are clear and large for easy viewing.
My precocious 5th graders picked up the Greek alphabet in about ten minutes after a quick review of this display thanks to free online videos I found that tie in cute story lines. Of course, you could always come up with your own story or challenge your students to create one.
Why teach children the Greek alphabet? It comes up more frequently than I realized before I incorporated this in my classroom.
The first connection they usually make is to "alpha" and "beta" forming the basis for the word "alphabet." Someone cries out, "Oh, is that why they call the leader of wolf and dog packs the Alpha males?" Another child notices that Pi is used in math... Last year, a few creative students used it in writing code. At the end of the school year, a little sweetie commented that he'd miss me, but the school year had gone from Alpha to Omega, so it was time to go.
