After studying greek myths I began incorporating other media into the unit to compare and contrast to our lessons. We read the Lightning Thief novel and watched Disney's Hercules and The Lightning Thief movies. Here you will find some activities to use when viewing each movie. The Hercules activity focuses on how the cartoonists portrayed the Greek gods and godesses compare to our impression of them. The Lightning Thief activity focuses on movie genres and the connection to the target audience.
