The is a novel study to be used in the classroom with The Guardians of Ga'Hoole : The Capture by Kathryn Lasky. The Capture is the first book in the series.
This 92-page novel study includes: open-ended questions for each chapter, vocabulary lists , quizzes, and activities. The activities include: vocabulary worksheets and word search/crossword puzzle templates, theme analysis, title analysis, cause and effect chart, internal/external conflict chart, character development activity, essay prompts, plot diagram with summarization essay, character analysis essay, and a Venn diagram with essay.
There are also five quizzes included.
Answer keys are included for the questions, vocabulary worksheets, and quizzes.

TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have been teaching for 10 +years. I am currently teaching 6th grade ELA. My goal, in regards to my products on TpT, is to give other teachers affordable products that are useful in the classroom. All of my listed products have been used in my classroom. I am constantly striving to make the learning experience more useful and engaging. Over time, I have updated, enhanced, and even revamped many of my products to fit the needs of my students, as well as the needs of the classroom teacher. I believe my novel studies are "all-inclusive" because they include vocabulary with activities, graphic aids that cover most ELA concepts, open-ended questions, essay prompts, quizzes, and comprehension tests.
