Guerrilla Writing Basic Essays Many students feel that every lesson is a mystery or a test for which they were never prepared. Each is a guerrilla fighting his way through unfamiliar territory.
These lessons carry the student through all the steps to writing an essay. Since the student is to learn how to write a formal essay in Grade 9, it is critical that he knows all of the basic conventions of how we write from Simple Sentences (Grade 1-4) to Passive Voice (Grade 10). The Scientific Method of Problem Solving is taught in Grade 8. If he knows these conventions, he can handle the lessons at the higher grades.
