I love your units. I have been apart of a reading first school for 7 years. Everything we did was very scripted, boring, and absolutely no creativity. I was ready to quit my job. However, God kept reminding me through my little ones why I was where he put me! He always shows up big! We have just came out of our grant and I feel like I have forgotten how to teach. However, thanks to you I am refreshed and having fun again. So thank you sooooo much. I have one question...Can you tell me about how long you do your units? How do you decide when to teach what unit? Oops that was two questions!!

I just wanted to let you know how much I am LOVING using your Guided Reading 101 pack! As a school wide improvement plan, I would like to promote your strategies throughout our school. However, I do not want to break any copyright laws. Would it be possible to get your permission to copy your posters and display them through out our school. It would be approximately five posters that will be displayed in the hallway in high traffic areas. We are a Title One school and funding is very limited. Thank you for your consideration. Can you clarify what you mean by "blurry pictures" in your Reading Strategies 101 pack? Several of the graphics, especially Stretchy the snake, have noticeable pixels on almost every page they are on. I downloaded the current version of Adobe Reader. I opened it again through the Adobe Reader program and the quality of the graphics has not changed.

Hi Deanna,
Of all the things I've bought from your store, this is my very favorite. These strategies are amazing and the kids really get it with your cute names and clip art images. I am wondering if you would be willing to use your images to make student bookmarks with the strategies and images that they could refer to when reading. I am thinking you could do two vertically on an 8.5 x 11 sheet. I tried making my own, but they know your image clues so well from the posters in the room that my bookmarks wouldn't work as well. Of all the things I've bought from your store, this is my very favorite. These strategies are amazing and the kids really get it with your cute names and clip art images. I am wondering if you would be willing to use your images to make student bookmarks with the strategies and images that they could refer to when reading. I am thinking you could do two vertically on an 8.5 x 11 sheet. I tried making my own, but they know your image clues so well from the posters in the room that my bookmarks wouldn't work as well. Deanna-I was wondering how you teach reading in your classroom- do you use or have you used The Daily 5, Reader's Workshop or some other format? I am so confused as to the best approach. I hope you can offer some advice. Thanks for your time!!

Hi Debbie, My kids do Literacy Centers while I do Guided Reading Groups. In the afternoon we spend another 40 minutes doing Reader's Workshoop. :)
