This is creative project to encourage the use of adjectives in students' writing. Guide the students through the process of composing a descriptive paragraph to "sell" a Haunted House. I culminate the activity with an art project to display with the finished writing product. It makes a fun bulletin board.
I have included modified lined pages to use with varied levels of writers.
Included in the kit is:
a haunted house brainstorming page
a graphic organizer to help students plan their writing
2 pages (primary and intermediate ruled) for students to write a draft
2 pages (primary and intermediate ruled) for students to write a final copy to display
a page of "For Sale Signs" to add to the accompanying art project
directions
