This one-page worksheet serves as a review of the vocabulary words taught during Theme 1 of the 4th grade Houghton Mifflin anthology. It is intended for homework, but could be used as a May Do assignment, for early finishers, or as morning work. It includes 12 words total found in "Akiak", "Grandfather's Journey", "Finding the Titanic", and "By the Shores of Silver Lake". Students must write the letter that corresponds to the correct definition for each vocabulary word. Words used include: drenched, platform, voyage, bewildered, distress, courageous, longed, craned, rugged, jolting, vowed, and marveled. Includes answer key.

How is Vocabulary Review B differenet from A? I bought both and they are exactly the same.

TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have taught 4th grade in Maryland for 8 years and 5th grade for 1 year. For manyyears, I was departmentalized teaching only Reading/Language Arts and Science. I actually enjoyed teaching grammar and learning about/using the 6+1 Trait method for writing. I also spent 2 years as a science resource teacher working with teachers and students in all elementary grades.
