This FREE mini-lesson reviews haiku poetry. It shows the format for writing haiku poems, as well as gives examples of original haiku poems. Students will create and write their own haiku poems on the designated topics: springtime, a frog, and rain. In addition, there is a list of possible topics for writing original haiku poems.

Here are a couple of suggestions that might help you to better market your products. Consider adding a second page which is a directions or suggestions page. List several ways you use this product in your classroom. Also, number your pages.
