This is a resource full of fun activities to do in a complete unit based on The Hallo-Wiener by Dav Pilkey. The activity set is packed with enough activities to carry you through a whole week, concluding with a Hallo-Wiener party! All original graphics, worksheets, games, songs, and projects make this a unit your students aren't likely to forget.
This would be perfect to either spread through the month of October, or to conclude the month with a week of author studies and Halloween or Fall party.

Hi there! Thanks for checking in with me! This set includes a template for a wiener dog as well as a scaredy cat. Students cut apart the pieces to each, then put them together using glue. Then they can either color/decorate them or for a fun variation, I suggest using tissue paper (crumpled using the eraser end of a pencil) to fill them in with "fur." I also included the template we used for "doggy ears" that can be glued to strips of paper and worn around the head as a hat. There is a fun game we played at last year's party that includes the doggy ear hats the students made included in the set as well!

Grades Taught:
Shortly after graduating from the University of Central Florida, I went to work at Kaplan Test Prep & Admissions. During that time, I was the Director of the Orlando-area campuses/satellite locations. Now, I'm happy as can be as a stay-at-home-mama to my 2 sweet girlies. My preschooler is a frequent inspiration for the items I create!
