Halloween Costume Alphabet Cards - Cute & Fun 26 drawings of kids in costumes

This is a 14 page download with colorful cards of kids in Halloween costumes - one for each letter of the alphabet. There are 26 pictures (2 per page) each with the costume word underneath the picture. These coordinate with my Halloween costume activities download and Halloween costume bingo game download. I had to split up the downloads due to too large of files (even after compressing and zipping the files). The cards can be used for whole group activities for younger students such as learning alphabetical order and beginning letters/sounds of words. One activity you could do is to give each student a card and then they can work together to put the cards in alphabetical order. Older students can learn to read, write, and spell the words. (See the activities download which has worksheets geared toward these skills.) One activity for older students is to put the cards around the classroom. The students can go around the room and copy the costume words in alphabetical order. Students can use the cards as writing prompts - (ie. what do they want to be for Halloween or tell 3 things you know about one of the costumes the children are dressed as). The cards would make great posters/ decoration for your classroom as well.

I have been a School Social Worker for a total of eleven years. I currently work in a small district in Illinois in two schools which include preK through 5th grade. As I am the only social worker in my two schools (and there is no counselor), I provide counseling and social skills training to all students who need it. I also provide social skills classroom groups for all classes from preK to 5th grade.
