This set was designed for use in a pre-k or kindergarten classroom. It has fifteen matching/pattern strips showing various colored Halloween pictures (nothing scary!). There are strips of each of these basic patterns: AB, AAB, ABB, ABC and ABCD. Children place matching pictures on top of the strip or extend the patterns. This is a fun Halloween idea - I set it up with some other table games during centers - no reading is required, so the children can be successful on their own! I also use this set one-on-one or with a small group of children as a tool to evaluate their skills with matching and patterns. Preparing the set involves just cutting and laminating.
