Halloween Math Goofy Glyph is an activity where students can hone their abilities in mathematics while putting together a fun art project that you can showcase on your classroom wall. Whether your students answer the questions right or wrong will dictate the way their glyphs look in this potentially silly glyph. They will end up with a vampire boy, vampire girl or pink, fluffy bunny! The math problems are designed for children in 5th and 6th grade. The problems review multiplication and division.
At the back of this booklet are templates that your students can use to help design their glyphs; otherwise, they can choose to create their own artwork.
Also, at the back of a book is a graph that you can use to visually see how the students all view different questions from the glyph.
All artwork is original and created by myself.

Found that I was unable to use this activity at this time of the year. Questions were too difficult and would be better suited for later in the school year. I would love to see this same type of activity using a spring or summer theme.

Personally I think this activity is awesome. I had a few students that got mad when they realized why they ended up with the rabbit. I think next year I will not use the "wrong choice" and work to be sure all the kids get to a correct answer.

I have used glyphs when I taught 2nd grade and loved them. This a wonderful way to take this to 5th grade! My students had a great time and spent time reviewing math in a fun way. Do you have anymore for 5-6th grade?

I am having difficulty printing this activity. It is open in Adobe and it gives me the message "This document could not be printed" "There were no pages selected to print"
I am doing nothing different that what I do when I print other PDF files. In fact, I purchased two other items when I purchased this one and both of those printed just fine. :(
