This is a fun Halloween activity that is also an introduction to different rhyming patterns of poetry. Students can underline the words that rhyme, or verbs, adjectives, etc. There are different possibilities. At the end, students have the opportunity to write their own RIP poems on a tombstone.

He died rolling off of a hill.
He had lots of money
and I was his honey.
Thank goodness he left me his will!
