This Halloween writing unit was designed to create a full month of writing for your classroom. Simply make a copy of each of these pages, staple together (with the cover page provided) and students can work all month on creative, fun, and meaningful writing.
There are 4 complete writing activities. Each comes with a brainstorm page (with instructions) and writing paper. I have also included 5 pages of fun writing prompts. 22 pages total!

I have taught Kindergarten for 6 years. I still teach K, however this year 2 weeks into school I was informed I would be leaving my kinders for an hour each day to teach a 6th grade reading/ writing class. It's a whole new world for me! Anyway I really thought this download included a rubric. So I ended up buying the Winter writing booklet also so that I could get a good idea on what this age groups rubric should look like. Like this unit but wish it included rubric.

I have bought this and used the Monster story already. I enjoyed the details my students used in their stories and I loved the space for them to draw what they wrote about. Can't wait to use more of the packet. Thanks!

I love Halloween time and getting the students involved with the holiday. Writing is a perfect way to celebrate because the students just love this time of year too. This will be a great way to improve their imagination through writing. Thanks for also putting in graphic organizers to help the student organize their thoughts before they write. Their going to love this unit!!
