This is a good sub activity. You need to have the film, "Mel Gibson Goes Back to School," and it is preferable that your students have already studied "Hamlet."
The good "sub" part is that the viewing takes an entire 45-minute period or during a block session, the students can begin working on the assignment.
The good "teacher" part is that the assignment is easy to grade. Like some of my other activities, i.e. "The Crucible" love letter, the "Little Tree" literature letter, and the "Alternate Review," the directions give ten specific parts. It's easy to detect whether or not the student has included all the parts.
