This 2 page worksheet acts as a guideline for an in-class re-enactment of Hammurabi's code in the classroom. The activity takes 2 - 3 days, depending on the size of the class and how elaborate you want your students to make their cases.
Also included is a rubric you can use to grade their re-enactments.
You will need a copy of Hammurabi's Code for the students to work with. If you do not have a copy of the Laws, they can be found online at: http://www.wsu.edu/~dee/MESO/CODE.HTM
