This product has a page with each letter of the alphabet. The letters are introduced in a systematic approach based on formation. For example, the first letter introduced is the letter "c" then the letters that proceed that all begin like a "c": d, a, g, q and o.
The students are provided with a dot to put their pencil on. The dot is ensure that the students are starting their letter in the correct place and are forming their letters from top to bottom.
There is a visual picture on each page to help reinforce the sound of each letter.
The students are also provided the opportunity to make one line of the letters without the training dot.
When the students are finished with their formation, they write 3 words that begin with that sound. The directions tell the students to pound the sounds they hear in the word. Then to tap and write the sounds they hear in the word. After the students have written their words, they draw a picture to match.
